Elliot Scott Group are currently seeking an experienced Property Manager - Block & Estate Management for a unique and quirky client based in Burgess Hill.
Due to increasing demand my client is seeking a Block Manager to join their well established team . You will work together other Block Managers and Accounts team, to maintain a portfolio of blocks and developments.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee daily operations of assigned properties
- Be able to read and understand leases.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained and in compliance with regulations
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct property inspections and coordinate necessary repairs or maintenance
- Advertise and show available units to prospective tenants
- Screen and select qualified tenants, prepare lease agreements, and collect rent payments
- Enforce lease terms, including late payment fees and eviction processes if necessary
- Maintain accurate records of property expenses, income, and tenant information
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and security deposit refunds
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and service providers as needed
- Budgets: forecast and formulate and review budgets for each development.
- Ensure FRA’s, EICR’s and H&S compliance is in place for every development.
- Conflict resolution, have the skillset and people skills to deal with complaints and achieve a positive outcome.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or related field preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is a plus
- Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
-Have a Full Driving License with access to own vehicle for site visits
- AIRPM Desirable but not essential
Monday to Thursday - 9.00-17.30
Fridays - 9.00 17.00
Salary - Up to £32k pa depending on experience
