Our client handled over 15,000 mortgage applications in 2023, and their team of Helpline Specialists and Mortgage and Protection Advisers have considerable knowledge and experience of mortgage products geared towards the new homes market. These skills were earned through long-established relationships with key mortgage lenders and national house builders.
As part of their ongoing expansion plans for 2024, our client is now looking to appoint an additional 3 Mortgage and Protection Advisers to their team. Adviser Promise:
Mortgage Advisers working for our client are never required to make cold calls to source their own mortgage appointments. They will always provide you with all your weekly mortgage appointments. These are referred to as pre-sign up appointments because they already have a pre-agreed AIP in place,and historically, they have a signup rate in excess of 90%. Appointments will be a mix of telephone appointments and potentially some face-to-face appointments that will involve some travel in your area.
Mortgage Adviser Responsibilities:
- You will never be asked to undertake cold calling.
- Each week, our client will provide you with 5 pre-qualified appointments with an AIP in place.
- Arrange mortgage and mortgage-related insurance products on behalf of our client's customers.
- Ensure all appointments are followed up and managed in a timely manner.
- Undertake both face-to-face (when allowed) and telephone fact-finds as required.
- Provide the highest level of mortgage advice and customer service to our client’s house builder clients.
- Follow our client’s mortgage sales process, ensuring full compliance at all times.
- Meet and maintain compliance with all competency guidelines.
- Focus on agreed sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Visit and maintain relationships with introducers.
- Ensure that all documentation is current and up to date, and that requirements of the Training & Competency Scheme are met.
- Adhere to current regulation guidelines, including money laundering and GDPR requirements.
- Present yourself smartly and professionally at all times.
- Be outgoing, ambitious, and self-motivated, thriving in a pressurized environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Minimum of 24 months of demonstrable customer-facing mortgage sales experience with a full CeMAP mortgage qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in Financial Services sales and an understanding of compliance regulations.
- High competence in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- A full driving license and use of your own car.
